Hi,

Thanks for looking....

I've got Windows 7 64 bit and Ubuntu 10.10 on my machine.

Both would work perfectly fine, but then one day, the Win 7 option from the linux bootloader stopped working. It gave me some error.

So I inserted the Win 7 disk and repaired the bootloader from DOS. :ohyeah:

Now, the Win 7 bootloader has become the default one and the Ubuntu option there won't work.:huh:

:@ It shows me this error :
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix this problem :

1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer
2. Choose your language settings and then click next
3. Repair your computer
File : \ubuntu\winboot\wubildr.mbr

Status : 0xc0000225

Info : The select entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt.

So how do I fix this ? :(:(

I'm really sorry. My exams just got over yest. I'll do that now and notify :)

Ok. What I'm doing is, going to the startup recovery, selecting command prompt from there, and typing fixmbr there.

This isn't right is it ? Because it says the command isn't recognized or something

So if this is wrong, what am I supposed to do ?

Ok, try this:

Download easyBCD for windows. Its a very easy GUI tool to manage multiple OS's. I guess you will be able to work it out after you download it, but let me know if you dont. Send me a PM.

I assume that the Ubuntu bootloader is not in the C: drive (Windows drive).
