Adobe Flash Player is officially dead tomorrow

Flash Player will reach its end of life (EOL) on January 1, 2021, after always being a security risk to those who have used it over the years.

With the start of the new year (Or for some of us, already now), Adobe Flash will cease to work. Between newer tools replacing it and the notable security vulnerabilities it is being put to an end.

And let's be clear, the program sucked. It was a resource hog and horribly insecure. But it also brought a huge wave of creativity to the internet. I remember spending hours on Newgrounds watching stickman fights and playing games. Anyone else have fond memories of this awful program?

I remember Adobe Flex and AIR being a rage at one time and used at work for developing applications. I still have that Beer Golf flash game

I think miniclip games were all based on flash. Even they ported it to android.

FarmVille on Facebook discontinued after 11 years as Adobe shuts down Flash player

The move came after software company Adobe announced that it will stop distributing Flash Player for web browsers as a result of which Facebook will stop supporting Flash games on the platform.

Didn't realize this would happen. Might be my favorite effect following the end of Flash.
