Flash Problems...

Aditya

Explorer
Hey guys, i get this error,

With Firefox,

With IE, i sometimes get the "ActiveX Control" bar on the top, and i have to allow the Flash Operation, to make it work

With Opera,
Sometimes works, some times doesnt. Withouht and error at all.

This error message started just after i installed Windows Defender.

I tried updating Flash, but FireFox keeps saying Error in download after its 800 of 800k downloaded..
I tried installing with the Flash Installer, but it extracts, and t hen nothing happens. If i check my Task Manager, "install_flash_player.exe" is on, and i have to end task it.
Tried doing this after a restart also.

What can i do?
Please Help! :(.

Thanks.

Assuming you have updated your FF, try disabling all the extensions and try especially Adblock, also clear your FF cache.

If it does not work, uninstall, reboot and reinstall FF.

K.. Trying that now..

Zzz.. Still doesnt work.. Total overhaul.. I uninstalled, rebooted, installed.

Still the same lame error.

Anything else i could try?

Reinstall Flash player?

Edit : Deleted Flash Player, Rebooting and Reinstalling now.]

Bah.. Gay shit.. Shit didnt work..

What to do?????????????????????

Im gonna delete Windows Defender and check.

OMFG...

Yup. Its Windows Defender, i ended the 2 Tasks of it, and the error stopped coming.

Damn, Microsoft screws up, yet again.

^ lol, in that case dont enable real time protection, check the settings of defender.

OR Uninstall and move onto Spybot search and destroy :) or any other anti-spyware you like. ;)

Which version of Flash do you have? To find out, type about :plugins in the addressbar and look for "Shockwave Flash". Or use the "Version Information" box at http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/

If you don't have the latest version (7.0r19 aka 7,0,19,0 if I'm correct), you may want to upgrade. If you already have the latest version, you could try and re-install Flash to see if that cures your problems.
