Most of us have shifted to HS18 to purchase books since no minimum order requirement and higher discounts

It is only a matter of time before even HS18 starts charging for shipping. With logistics being such a headache in India, all companies prefer to have their own delivery service. How many of the courier companies in India are trustworthy and professional? After having ordered lakhs worth of goods online in the US, I can say that no Indian courier company comes close to the service quality of UPS/FedEX or even USPS, like in the US. When I checkout from a US based website, I will be told exactly how much I will be charged, and when the item will be delivered. After umpteen transactions, I have never had a lost package or wrong/late delivery. And here in India the situation is on the other end of the spectrum. Try shipping a mobile phone and you'll know what I mean. There is no guarantee the courier company is going to accept the package, and if they do, no guarantee it will reach safely.

And unless e-com companies charge self delivery back on the customer, they cannot sustain themselves. Honestly, I don't mind paying a reasonable amount for shipping if it is going to guarantee fast delivery.

Aramex is one company which hasn't failed me.

Here in my city, every courier company charges their own courier rates instead of the tariffs set by company. I am fed up of this thing.

Letsbuy is a bad/meaningless acquisition. Flipkart should've left LB as it is. They both are good.

But this acquisition is putting pressure on FK now.
