Review flipkart return policy about unsatisfied purchase

ok here is the story
i had bought a watch from flipkart couple of days ago. their shipping was great. recieved in flat 18hrs.
But after opening the box, it turned out that i didn't like the watch strap color.
I remember reading somewhere like as part of their 30day return policy one can go for a exchange if u r not satisfied with the purchase. but after contacting their CC, to my surprise they turned down my request.
Is this true?. had anybody ever made a exchange from flipkart if they didnt satisfied with the purchase?

@mod please merge this thread with flipkart main thread, i didnt't find one for some reason.
 
They refund only if not as per specifications on their main page, else they replace. If the strap is same color and design as shown in pic, they won't refund.

I had bought a Philips trimmer and came unsealed. Complained and they replaced but the second one was also not sealed. Complained but then they didn't take any action.

It appears that flipkart gets returned items replaced and pass on to other customers and hence, the unsealed box.

Phillips trimmers have no seal.

Also this is not like myntra, u get a replacement only if products are faulty..

I bought the high end trimmer with 6 attachments. I meant the box was not sealed both times and the plastic holding the trimmers and attachments were crumpled and not new.

Sorry, I bought a trimmer and shaver from FK recently. Both came sealed outside, and the packing inside was not crumpled either.
For OP: get the straps changed, wont cost you more than a few hundred bucks.
 
^No mate i have bought 2 trimmers from flipkart (WSRETAIL), both did not come in a sealed condition...it came in plastic lamination.There was no SEAL as such on box.

I remember buying a Braun Cruzer at retail, it was sealed. Why would they sell them open.
 
Well then flipkart sent me a second hand trimmer u suppose?

The package was sealed not the box, the phillips box came in a plastic lamination.. Just like the Tp link routers and modems don't come with a seal, they come in thin plastic lamination..

In that case, the product you got wasn't used, but the box was previously opened.
 
Anyways forget it. All I'm saying is box doesn't have a seal.

Seal = a circular/rectangular thing posted at the point where the box opens.

Even all tp link products have no seal..

They come in plastic packing with no seal as such..
