Font rendering problem with Chrome on win 7

I hope this is the right place to post this thread. Please excuse me if this has been asked before. I could not find it nor google helped.

I am using Version 41.0.2272.101 m of Chrome on win 7(64bit) the menu font of the browser is not being render properly. I am attaching the screen shot of the problem. It is very annoying to work when the font is looking this bad.

Please let me know if I need to provide any other details.

This issue is connected to windows update.
Did you recently install any update ? You might have to roll back on the last update.
If that doesn't solve it, then you will have to update windows fully.
 
Do you know which update did this? What do you mean by fully updating windows?[DOUBLEPOST=1427377960][/DOUBLEPOST]I updated windows to latest updates. The problem is still there
