I came across this excellent thread
[Foobar] Foo AvA by dawxxx666 - Neowin Forums

dawxxx666 has done this excellent user interface for foobar.

Its been a long time i had customized foobar and so i was not able to successfully apply his creation to my foobar.

So as i found out a exact method i am posting a guide here on how to apply
this excellent interface to ur foobar.

This is guide is written by me after finding how to appropriately apply this
as those who are new to foobar might find it difficult what to do.

[Foobar] Foo AvA by dawxxx666 - Neowin Forums

Firstly uninstall ur current foobar.

Download the latest version i.e. 0.9.4.3

From Here:

http://www.foobar2000.org/foobar2000_0.9.4.3.exe

And install it

Then Download everything mentioned on the first page

1.> copy all components to "components" folder

Components needed:
Foo_playcount
lyric show modded
Foo_peakmeter
Panels_UI 0.13.8
Cwb Hooks
Album Art panel
Columns UI
Album List
Lyrics DB
QuickSearch Toolbar

Optional:
WSH Panels (Unstable. May crash your foobar)
WMPVis (Unstable, see here)
Extract all the dll's to the components folder in foobar directory
C:\Program Files\foobar2000\components
2.> Then DOWNLOAD config [Foo_AvA_1.03_by_dawxxx666_24.06.2007][most important file]
Link: Send big files the easy way with sendspace. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

Right click the rar and extract to a folder "X".

X= any folder[but dont extract to the foobar folder]

then you will get a file "Foo_AvA_1.03_by_dawxxx666_24.06.2007" with a
foobar icon , which is a self extracting archive now dont extract it to the
foobar folder instead extract this to any folder and this will be the files in that
folder.

Install all the fonts from the Foobar_Fonts.exe which is a self extracting archive.

fooava1pt6.png

Let this folder be called "X"
3.> Create a folder named "PanelsUI" in foobar's directory

Like this C:\Program Files\foobar2000\PanelsUI

Copy images folder , DAWXXX666_AVA_preferences.dx6 , DAWXXX666_AVA_1.03 from folder "X" to the C:\Program Files\foobar2000\PanelsUI path.

Now the most important part.

4.> Now start foobar and select panels ui

fooava2id2.png

Now at this stage click "Ctrl + P" and you will get this screen.

fooava4jk1.png

Here Select Panels UI at the side and then select DAWXXX666_AVA_1.03.pui

Click Save All and you are done.

Hope this info will help you setup ur foobar ava

Have you downloaded WMPVis component.

download it and extract the dll to the components folder of foobar.

and that visualizations will definately showup.

If u want the visualization then this is not a default windows media player

visualization i have downloaded that.

i got the following error:
foobar%20error.jpg

If u guys are on Vista then i m not sure , it works gr8 on my Windows XP.

Also its a very unstable plugin , but i hav never faced ne issue on my side.

well i aint on vista as of now.. i mean.. the OS on which i installed the plugin is our Gud ol XP.. Hmm.. So.. and workaround to get that thing working... Cuz m getting the smae error

Failed to load DLL: foo_uie_wmpvis.dll

Reason: This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

One more thing..
all my FLACs have album art associated, yet Foobar only shows album art on some FLAC albums. What about the rest? Any particular format/storage area for the covers and album art?

Found one more interesting panel for Foobar

NOTE : This is for Vista users only

Features:

* A glass window

* Cool Reflections shifty.gif

* A sidebar with playlist or library view

* Option to disable sidebar

* Not many plugins needed

* Memory Footprint around 10 MB

Plugins needed:

* Panels UI

* Album List Panel (for Library View)

* Columns UI (Volume bar and Playlist Switcher)

* Quick search toolbar (You can mod it with Reshacker to use SegoeUI)

* Playback Statistics (for play count)

Procedure:

* Extract zip folder to \foobar2000\PanelsUI\

* Select 2Glassy\2glassy.pui in PanelsUI configuration

* Adjust Playlist Switcher Colours (Text white, BG black, selection blue) and set window frame style to none

* Invert (black BG, white text) Album list panel colours, apply Vista Theming and set window frame style to none

* Invert (black BG, white text) colours of Quick search toolbar, select searchtangoblack.bmp as custom bitmap and set window frame style to none

Limitations / Bugs:

* Grouping relies on the %totaltracks% tag. In order to create this tag automatically, select all your albums, click on properties, right click on Total tracks and select auto track number.

* Window title doesn't update when minimized

* Looks best with Aero Graphite colour scheme
