DC belives in only one inspiration, his neighbours booty :)

So pardon him if he doesnt feel as excited while watchin sachin;)

why doesn't moderators put a stop to DC comments ? We all know "he hates sachin " but whats the point repeating the same thing again and again in every cricket thread that shows up. Dc comments does hurt some ppl so i request moderators to give him a warning of some sort.

@ DC

Tendulkar has also consistently done well in Cricket World Cups (excluding the 2007 Cricket World Cup in which India were knocked out after only 3 matches). Tendulkar was the highest run scorer of the 2003 Cricket World Cup and 1996 Cricket World Cup

in 2003 world cup if not for sachin...Team India wouldn't even have made to the finals.

How many world cups has he won? :O.
How many cars has he imported tax free? :O

If only his airtime in ads equalled his air time on the crease.

Overhyped P.O.S. God my ar$e.

Genius :@:@ , if not anything try to learn some modesty from him. Sad to know person like u exist on this planet. Ur truly a good for nothing POS.

i agree with darthcoder., no big deal

but when u compare him to guys like filmstarsand their hype, then hes on a whole different league!

Sachin is ONE OF THE [not "THE"] greatest batsman of all time.

but I always wonder - if Sachin would have born in some other country, say Australia..would he still have the same records and stats as he has right now? the answer is NO. coz in other countries where they run the cricket board in more professional manner [compared to BCCI] they even drop their best player when he is not performing. But, in India with cricket as a religion, and Sachin being the undisputed god, no one in the selection committee dares to take that chance. and I am not talking about this year or last year etc. I am talking about his career in general.

My point here is, why cant we have a team of 11 who are "THE" best in the world instead of having only 1 and relying on him all the time? and why we have only one or two people who play some decent cricket out of the F***ing 11 most of the time.
that's why I stopped watching our matches since few years ago

sorry for trolling here. but i cudnt control myself after reading the whole thread.

^^ i know, i m sorry for my post.

i know how it feels when someone who is not a fan comes in and spoils the discussion. I will be off this thread now. and I request everyone else who is against the OP to do the same

@RVK

I actually feel his stats could have been even better in test matches if he would have played for Australia.

If Sachin had played for australia, he would have had 20k+ runs in both forms of game.

I mean just look at the inflated averages of aussie batsmen, because of their team intimidating the opposition bowling lineups.

Its really unbelievable that u guys wd even waste time for DC and his comments.

Give him some space guys.

You know he lost it while growing up watching Indian corruption and is skewed to comment against many things INDIAN.

Few of his comments are fine and justified but his idiosyncrasies will be glaring once in a while. So cut him some slack guys.. :)

Excerpt from a blog abt Sachin's 175 vs Aus,

You get batsmen who are exceptional when they’re 16. You get batsmen with adamantium wrists. You get batsmen who choose their shots well.

You get cricketers who are fit and dedicated to their sport. You get cricketers who can cope with the downs and who come back stronger. You get get cricketers who can last for 20 years.

You never get all of this.

Loved reading the original post. Also next time he will chase down the 350 and not leave it for others. And that will happen :)

Its a shame that India lost on that day.
