For people who got excess bill in BSNL Night unlimited plan

Hello everyone,
I am seeing may people are complaining about excess billing / billing between 2:00hrs and 8:00 hrs. As I was also a victim of the same, I am writing this. Please understand that there is a technical error at BSNL side. There is no use trying to fix that. So focus on our issue.
If you see your usage during night (between 2 and 8 am) has been billed, then take a printout of the screen shot , mark it clearly and send along with a letter in official format with all your details like user name, phone number, scheme, account number (which is shown in usage checking page)(use the url: BSNL Portal!!) to concerned customer relations officer (check which one for your area by calling 1500). For better result send by registered post or courier which gives you acknowledgement.
Even if you get the bill, dont panic. Give some for the officer to verify your usage(This may be a couple of weeks maximum). If you are so anxious, can pay a visit at his office and make sure that he got his letter.
In my case, the customer relations officer requested a report from NIB (National Internet backbone) regarding my usage and the bill and has been corrected. After correcting, you can go to any customer care centre, and get a duplicate bill.

And most important thing is always restart your modem after 2 am without fail. Otherwise your are again in soup. If you dont know how to setup automatic restart of modem, then let me know.
And dont change to unlimited plan. Its damn slow. stick to 500 C or 500 plan. Money always important during this time.
 
Is there a way to check whats the exact BSNL's server time. Cause with that i am sure there is no way for a goofup ;)
 
Yup had a bill spike on BSNL BB500 for the past two months. Don know why that happened..coz was using the same for past 2.5years or so..never ad a spike....but then i got billed 2k for two conseqitive months...thought that my visiting cousin was the reason for that and promptly shifted to 750UL...it took time to get adjust to 256kBps from 2mBps but then its okay for surfing the web ....but downloads....hmmmm thats a problem....
 
for the march i used only 2.4 gb

but they charged me extra 356 bucks as additional usage charges

for this 356 i need to argue with that fellow , wasting my time

I have never faced a problem. Disconnect/reconnect at 2:02.. BSNL does an auto restart at around 2:23 in my region (Bangalore) If you have not scheduled for a reconnect at 2, schedule your downloads after 2:30 and you are good to go...

Sync your clock to latest time using windows sync feature in the clock.. My comp time and the server time is synced always..

you can connect at a specified time and then check later in your usage the time recorded by bsnl server when you connected.

yes dats the best way to check actually,
even when i re-install my windows , the clock settings reverts to default,
then i connect and disconnect at a particular time 2-3 times and then check in usage later at wat time were my connections and disconnections:)
