Hi Guys,

I am thinking of getting a Venice core. So, I am thinking of selling my 3200+. It is hardly 4 m onths old. I got it on Feb 8th. The fan broke. So, I will be selling the CPU only(if you want, I can try to get a new AMD fan and sell the CPU + Heatsink + fan).

The price is totally negotiable. Expected around --- 9.5K.

It overclocks pretty well...... upto 2.6Ghz and the best part is that it ran 3D MARK 05 at 2.6Ghz.

It is Prime stable at 2.45Ghz.

Contact me as soon as possible if any one is interested.

Since it is a very new CPU, I think the overclocking potential will improve over time. Can't say for sure though. Also, my mobo is far from being one of the best overclocking mobos. It will most probably do better on a mobo like the nf4 or neo2 platinum.

Is it working fine ?? Did u buy it from india or abroad ??

it's working fine (he mentioned that) and he bought it here only.

all correct......... I bought it from here only and it works fine....... I oc'ed it till 2.5 GHz(prime 95 stable). Beyond that it is not prime stable though 3D MARK 05 completes even at 2.6 GHz.

Latest 3dmark 05 score --- 5697...

Here is the link.......
These are my latest overclocks...... 2.63 and 2.6 GHz.

At 2.6, I could run all the versions of 3dmark. But at 2.63, nothing would run. But for all other WIN XP apps, it was stable........

And 2.6 was not Prime stable.... But me able touch these speeds on my CPU is amazing as the average is around 2.4. Mine is a 0501 CPU which are very very poor overclocker......

cmon guys someone buy this dudes processor, he needs a new one. i wouldve bought it nikhil but i dont need it right now.

Thanks dude!!!! But me being a fair fellow and trying not to be greedy, must say something at this point of time which will certainly nullify any chance of being able to sell my processor.

I DO NOT HAVE THE DAMN BOX!!!! :@ But I will try to get the serial number from the person I bought it from.......

You need the serial number for availing warrnaty. Though I really doubt how many people actually make use of that warranty....

I will certainly try my best to make sure I get the serial number if someone shows any interest.....

YOu can be assured that I will get you the serial number required for warranty purposes...............

But how many people really make use of warranty??? These processors do not dies when you run them at stock voltages and stock speeds. Only when you oc them. And when you oc them, the warranty is automatically nullified......

Warrant is generally seen as a backup whn buying items, just to b sure , so tht nythng goes wrong atleast u knw it will b exchanged :)

Wht r u takin about???...........dn think ny1 can make out if u hav OC'ed ur proccy here

nd if u STILL say so, then i must say tht ur proccy has no warranty

but thts not the case :cool2:

yep. And Nikhil as I told you even a bill will do if you know your dealer well.
If for some reason anyone needs to replace the CPU they will need something. Either a box with serial no or/and the original bill.
You can ask for the duplicate copy of the bill if its bought through a official dealers. They keep the copy or data backed up in their database.
What people want is just an assurance that if needed the warranty can be claimed.
Everyone knows that overclocking technically voids the warranty but if this expensive processor dies on you i am sure 10 out of 10 people will claim for replacement under warranty.
We dont need to be saint you know ;)
And thats why people need some sort of document or box.

As I told you, I will certainly try to get it. The dealer is a close friend of my dad and I hope he will oblige me by giving a copy of the bill....

I just want someone to buy this processor....
