Hi guys, I happen to find a shop over here that has CFLs in stock but from what he told me stock is limited.. and ppl on TE were looking to buy CCFLs so a CFLs is as good and as bight as a CCFL and costs almost half of what the ccfls are available for...



there are available in all colors, Green, Blue, Yellow, Red, white and i think even Pink and Orange

but availabilty am not to sure of..

Will sell for 500 bux inclusive of insured shipping so that u dont end up with a broken incident... hehe..

oh and i forgot to mention, these connect directly to your AC outlet, so no extra stress on the PSU, though u can mod it and remove the resistor to run it on ur 12V rail of the psu...

Also, what are the Power Sockets? I mean Molex? Or external DC? what?

Also, is there a lot of Heat generation?

^^ they connect to ur AC 230V outlet...they do get slightly warm but u can only tell that when u touch them...they dont radiate any significant heat that is noticeable in the area.

very very very bright...see my green-colored pics...i had to make them face the walls of the cabinets to reduce the effect a bit...even had to use black tape to prevent light escaping into the room :bleh:

ive already replied to ur PM

and power socket as in the ones u use to plug in ur appliances, tv fridge lol ur pc even.. this is better coz it dosent draw power from ur PSU and no chance of pc components getting blown if the inverter of ccfls goes kaput, u can google for this issue...

and nope, no heat generation, these gets barely warm... any more question let me know..

i will ask about the avaiabilty of the red cfls.. blue toh pakka available so is green, so if i dont find red, is there any other color i can send you?
