This goes for sale, since i am waiting for my friend to bring me an EMU 1212M professional soundcard the next month. So this has to go. This card has been modified with formidable AD8620 Opamps on all channels, increasing the dynamic range by 3 decibels measured on RMAA benchmarks.
http://www.geocities.com/amol2003/M-Audio_Revolution3.htm

The opamps themselves cost $7 per piece and 8 pieces of them have been used on all channels, to replace the default crappy JR5032 ones.

Used for a year and in mint condition with the box intact , packed like new, and all cds, still not opened.

Price expected Rs 4500 with free shipping.

OMG why is this happening to me???? I'm buying my rig next month, and here are so many good deals coming up when i have no money.
If you havent sold it by next month ( which sems highly unlikely) I'll buy it.

i am not sure if this is offtopic, but this card is better than my Creative Audigy 2 (Model SB0240)? My Audigy is a plain vanilla card and it has 6.1 output..

if this M Audio revolution is better than my Audigy 2, i might be interested. I wont be using 7.1. I'll be using headphones.. thats it :D

If you are talking about plain sound quality, absolutely yes! If you're talking about cpu utilization, then its a big no!

Audigies are good for gaming (cheap eax effects + low cpu utilization), but for movies/music this owns them.
I have personally listened to his setup, brilliant clarity.

I would swap this for something that would be useful for me, like a gig of ram, or anything else. PM me if you have something for swapping.
