For Tata sky customer are like "sitting ducks"

I have been a Tata Sky subscriber since the last 1 year and whenever i face a problem the Customer Care service is the best. I also have a Dish TV and it's service is crap. Customer care don't even treat u properly and this is not once. I have called like 5-6 times for service and evry time same issue.

I personally find the CC of Tata Sky the best, atleast in conversation.

I have talked to BigTV and they too are unaware of any plan details and when asked they don't know and they say it very promptly. Imagine what after sales service would be though i am not going to go for it.
 
Ya tata sky service was prompt..
The installation guys were fantastic..Got everything with them, drilling machine, our favourite colour of wire:P, and proper casing/those things to hold the wire in place and everything..No fuss no nothing..We made them install at the most difficult of places since there were problems...

The guy even repaired a few problems in the tatasky connection in our office..With out saying a word..

That means a lot to us..
 
Proud to be a Tata Sky customer from Day Uno...

Tata Sky engineers are truly professionals and well equipped...

They brought a db meter to accurately measure the signal level while at a friend's place Dish TV installation crew brought a small TV to check for signal strength and tried to install the dish behind a large cable which i promptly pointed a no-no...

I always hear high praise about TATA Sky customer service from every TATA Sky consumer...

so does big tv,they always get a db meter.but other then the task of measuring and taking down the readings they dont have a clue about other stuff like HD,component out,sattelite trasnponders, video resolution etc.

Umm, there is no implication of 'fool' in the expression sitting duck...

Dictionary: sitting duck

n. Informal.

An easy target or victim.

Therefore all that ad says is..you can easily 'hit' 2m customers with one shot !

Just cause terrorists target crowded areas, making any ppl present, sitting ducks, does not imply these victims are fools.
 
Assuming it's an authentic TS ad, nothing offensive/insulting about it. It's like saying "TS is so good that customers will stay glued to the TV and your ads will target them like sitting ducks".

PS: I've had TS for about 3 months now and it works well, hardly ever needed to contact TS customer care... mainly just for calling/arranging second installation! :D
 
I have both TataSky and DishTV. I am very much satisfied with TataSky customer care and their service quality.
I have moved my house a month back. And DishTV people gave little importance to my re-installations. Those Ba***** never turned up. I am taking local digital cable connection from hathway.
I am totally cheated by DishTV. I have given money upto December 2008. that also gone. Such a Ba*****.
 
Tata Sky STB's are worthless. I had two of them and both of them went bad right after their warranty expired (had to pay 1800 bux for getting them replaced).

Tata Sky's cc is good but they are nothing less of cheaters. Bloody fools have started charging for almost every channel.

You must be extremely fortunate.

Mine seems to lose the transmission half of the time. Channels keep jumping around every month. Given the amt. of ads you have to endure, i watch TV less than 5hrs/month nowadays.

which cable is urs is it Incable,i have Incable apart from the big dth and quality of dth is obvious,but the problem with cable is they always keep messing with channels positions instead of star sports they change to DD sports or another sports channel its realy annoying.also when ever the power goes in the area where there is booster boxes u dont cable,they also keep messing with the sound.
 
I'm not sure which city you live in but i think the feed for mine comes from some company called Atria.

I have been waiting for the any of the bigger players to start offering some thing in this area, via a cable, Airtel, Reliance, even BSNL, but nothing so far.
 
sun dth rocks for me.atleast for me ,prompt aftersales service.and its darn cheap to say least. asianet cable connection was soooo bad.when it rains(half an year!) ,signals loss ,also 3 times lightning came throught the cable to my TV.luckily repaired the board for 3 times ,afterall sony is the best :D .

BIG TV and SUN DTH are the only viable options for average customers ,who dont want to shell out Rs400/pm. :|
 
As far as I am concerned , pretty happy with TS. But once Sun DTH introduces ESPN STAR bouquet, i ll think of moving to SUn DTH
 
Well Sun is an exception..I dont know their business model, But reliance as we all know will leech back all the benefit it gave us, sooner or later..
