Graphic Cards ForceWare 77.77 and Triple Buffering

Is it true that these forcewares allow to use triple buffering on 6600gt's/6800gt's under opengl similar to ati's catalysts?
Can anybody confirm this?

I know for sure they enabled it for the 7800 series but many people on nvnews report it works on gf6's as well with the new 77.77 set.
Can't try for myself, the cards been sent to bfg for replacement.
 
Sad, i doubt the Triple Buffering is allowed with the 6 series. You can try when your card gets back anyways. Jeesh is BFG really that bad? I've heard 100's of people complain about this. Either Fans breaking, overheating, blah blah.
 
However good a company maybe, noone can maintain a 100% record.
And my problem is a fully faltu one, the dvi pins simply got loose somewhat and don't make contact properly.
Not sure what your sources are, but I haven't come across many people unhappy with bfg products than with others.

I asked on nvnews and those people confirm that forcing triple buffering under opengl works on gf6's now.
Basically *every* recent generation card be it ati or nvidia supports triple buffering.
For d3d it can't be forced and needs to be supported by the game, while for opengl it needs to be implemented by the drivers.

nvidia drivers just didn't have that option for some reason - Maybe 'cause hardly any games that use opengl these days and triple buffering is the last thing on anyones mind.
