Format Factory problems! Any alternatives?

This software used to work well before, but God knows what's happening it's not working anymore! I have been trying to convert this (pic attached) file but it just won't convert it! Runs for 30 odd secs, then a file of 1 second length pops up!
Anyway, wasted enough time behind this, any good alternatives of this software? Free would be nice or paid in case.

which software are you using .. in my opinion use dos mode converter they work fast and with full perfection...

I've tried many software but couldn't find anything simpler and more effective than Freemake Video Converter.

which device you want to stream the video... accordingly will suggest you the software but vdub is best to convert videos

MeGUI. Use its inbuilt one click encoder settings to get mp4 file. Use bitrate calculator to get file sizes according to your requirement. Or use inbuilt presets too.

Before trying any other software, once try the option: Use system decoder (avisynth) "on" in output settings.
