Welcome to a new race and in all probabilities, it will be far better than the US GP at Indy.

Race on 3rd July 2005

So, let the battle begin....

NEWS: McLaren P1 in both Friday Practices.

What happened with Kimi sucks!!
First it was Mika who used to have all sorts of problem and now the other Finn too.....

hope something happens to that Alfonso....oops Alonso tooo :eek:hyeah: :bleh:

the same source mentions this too:

Michael Schumacher served notice that Ferrari are close to the ultimate pace at Magny Cours as he recorded the third best time of the session in his Bridgestone-shod Ferrari. Team-mate Rubens Barrichello was seventh fastest.

beware mclaren / renault / michelin fanboys

:hap2: ferrari fanboys

10 places is not much btw.. Kimi can still win from there. Needs a bit of luck... as it is Kimi makes his own luck :p

yep..provided he qualifies on pole...he'll stand 10th on grid...
if he qualifies further down, just imagine.. :p

and we'll see the ultimate pace of ferrari btw. ;)

With Kimi outta contention for the pole now. The fight is between Michael and Alonso.
errrr...unless Toyota decide to abort the race again and run the qualifying with only 4 laps worth of fuel :p

and history repeats itself.. McLaren does it to Kimi again.. lol.. even Sauber's with Ferrari engine were more reliable than these McLarens :p

wont they disqualify the car even if it crashes on victory lap ?! :S
anyways, alonso - p1; trulli - p2 ; kimi p3 (effectively - p13) ; schumi - p4
hope tomm. will see a nice race. :)

DAMN!!! Now the only hope for Schumi is in the pitstps..... There is no way he can go ahead of the Renault during the start. Those damn Renaults just rocket away from the line like nobody's business......

Norbert Haug (Mercedes Motorsport Director):
"Considering his strategy Kimi's qualifying lap was very good being one and half tenths from pole time. His engine failure on Friday meant that he has to start from thirteenth place instead of third in tomorrow's race with Juan Pablo in eighth. We have the speed for good results and we can achieve them despite starting from fourth and seventh rows."
Atleast some hope is there for kimi fans :p
