While searching my username in Google, I came across this link : h__p://[remove]s159920923[dot][remove]onlinehome[remove][dot]fr/ . It contained MD5 hash for atleast one of my commonly used user names. I didn't try to search for other names or passwords though. Should I be worried about this? Does this indicate that somebody has tried to hack some account that was using that particular name?

Most of the websites store passwords in md5 saltedhash, pretty difficult to bruteforce using rainbow table unless you have good dictionary collection. BTW why you so worried about websites having MD5 hash of your commonly used user name :S or was it password?

:) It was my user name only. I didn't try to search my password since I am not sure whether the search itself could get me into problems. My main concern was why anybody would be interested in my username! When I get time, I will try to dig some more into this.

@mk76: Nice find :D
