FPS, Adventure, Strategy Or Sports Games?

I personally think FPS games rule:P but carry on..................hehe

FPS GAMES ALL THE WAY.

BTW im doing this as a Prove A Point thing for a mate at school who thinks that sports games are better than FPS games:@ man i hate him:P............:P:devil:

^^It's not even about flavors - it's like asking whether we like tea, coffee, hot choc or soda lol.
 
Adventure Games all d way .... Games like Syberia , Longest Journey , GTA .... u get immersed in d Game world unlike an FPS whoz only objective is to Kill Kill Kill :|

You're doing this to prove a point and lookin stupid while makin it :P

duh doop this is like comparing chicken and mutton :P or sushi and sardines :bleh:

personally I play fps, tps, rpg, rts and race sim genres...variety IS the spice of life pal...
 
I like most FPS, TPS, RTS, some RPG, Adventure and very few sports/race Sims. But like/dislike of a game genre changes from person to person.

But in general FPS/TPS games are preferred by many people because of their simplicity of having fun. No need to remember complex controls or control combinations. Also many sports games are ports of console games or developed keeping both PC and console platforms in mind and So the graphics/controls are not always top notch for PC.

Another thing to note is people don't buy a 8800GTX more to play Cricket 2007, FIFA or Madden. They buy it to play Crysis or Alan Wake :bleh:
