Market Feedback Fraudulent TE member "Raaga" VANISHED !!

Guys,
I purchased a spice qt44 and 2 8gb pen drives from this seller.
The person shipped me the pen drives, and said that he will not be able to courier the phone to me, so he would refund back the money to me.
It's been a month now, and i have not yet got a refund for the mobile.
Whenever i call the person, some lady talks in local Bangalore language which i cant understand, and at times another female picks up who claims to be TE member Raaga's sister and assures me that she would communicate my message to Raaga.
After sending 500 odd text and 50 calls.
Finally i got to speak to Raaga, and he said that there is no bank near his location, so it took time for him to transfer the money and said that he has done the transaction today.
But it's been 4 more days, and i have not received the amount, nor is he picking up my phone, rather cutting my calls and switching off his cell phone.

His contact nos are : 08147988448 and 09535690616.
I have his bank a/c details as well.

Guys, please help me out with this issue. :(
I guess he has already dealt locally in bangalore with Deus Ex Machina from TE and sold an iphone 4.

The deal happened a month back ..

When there were not many cases happening around in TE.

Also, i had trusted on this TE member because he had gone through a local deal with Xtech

So, i thought that the guy would be genuine.

The amount is just 1k, but feels really bad if it goes away from your hand in this manner ..

Any way i could track his address ( through his bank a/c details or cell no)

Also, can any bangalore TE member help out ...

You said he shipped you 2 pen drives right? Just check the packaging of the pen drives and check the return address.

If you threw away the packaging, then go to the courier service office who delivered the pen drive and ask them to bring up the records of your shipment. They might ask you for your ID to verify if you were the consignee.

Yes, i guess i still have the packet for the pen drives, he had sent the pen drives in a CD mailer, and i guess i still have it in my drawer.
At the moment, i am in office, will go back home and check the address if mentioned and update on the thread.

Another way to get more info on him would be to add any of his close friends and say that your are Chetan's old friend and wish to meet him and give him a surprise because you are in blore . He will surely help you out ! :)
 
if you are 100 % sure of this guy then contact HR of Nuware Systems Pvt Ltd.

Update them of fraud, He will come to Delhi & give you the phone in hand rather loosing this job.

Even if someone lives near that area, it would be difficult to trace him out as he has just given the area, and not the hous/appt no.

Best way is check whether the name in the Fb profile matches the name in the bank acc details.

If they match, then you can try what praks said.
 
to get complete address best is to launch a diary in police, take it to the bank, give his account details and the bank will provide the full address with contact number.

^for that IMO rocker123 will need to file an FIR, and then cyber-police will do the needful. <But I am not sure how much successful that process has been proved till date>

Also best thing is, if someone from TE works for a bank or knows someone who can provide details, please provide help to rocker123.
 
dude if he can get the address people from bangalore can help. i actually stay 5 minutes from the users alleged place

I again called on the no today, and her sister picked up the phone and said that he is not at home.

He is never at home :-(
 
^^ Just tell her that its best if he contacts you within a day or 2 or else you will be forced to contact the police. Since you have all the proof+ the thread+ the conversation records+ account number of the bank where the authorities can get his resident address and a good idea of where he works, its not going to look good on his part.

I got an SMS from Chetan stating" hey i will call you back tomorrow morning 11AM"
 
^^ Let's not enjoy the supper before its served. Tell him to do the needful and take the money back rather than wasting time in talking. If he wants to talk, tell him to post it over here rather than wasting time on the phone.
