Oh ok. I was waiting for a confirmation. Am checking other options, including donating it to charity orgs like small mission schools etc. Else will gift it to somebody who really needs it.

^^Already donate to charities man nearly 5-10% of my annual sal, wanted to personally help somebody here.

Well, u are most welcome to donate it.... but if u decide to sell, i am interested.
I am from pune, and my bro stays in thane and dad travels to mumbai (vile parle) quite often..... let me know.

I had epson CX51 printer (shit) and wasted money on repairing it a bit etc. and its still lying around dead. Will replace it with yours if u are fine with it.

Not much interested in spending too much on printer stuff as dont use a lot as well. I dont know the market price of this model atm, but will be ready to spend 500 (if cartridges are dry) or max 800 (if catridges are working) i.e. equivalent of my printer repair cost. This might be too low quote but u can always reject it.
Again i would say there is nothing better than to donate it (obviously not me :D) to some needy.
Cheers.....

frankly, this is the vilest thread I have ever laid eyes on in a long, long time.. in any forum.. simply degrading and though I have no idea what others think.. I am quite appalled..

pan-handling turned into a fine art in the name of altruism.. Please ban me immediately for this OT post.. or would it have been ok if I had made an appeal in the name of a homeless puppy / sleepless nights / no job / no plasma tv ... ?

Super Effort man!
I like your generosity.

Although i needed a printer very much and can't purchase it now(cash crunch) but still i won't bid for it. as i know by saving for few months i can purchase a new one. as goes the case with other forum members they all can purchase it if really needed.

So i you suggest you to put it up for sale and donate the money. this way the buyer is indirectly helping a cause and knows that his money is put to a good use.
So this solves two purpose, the buyer gets what he needs & poor children are helped.so you should put this up for a sale where the highest bidder wins.

for donation, it can be make online as well. try GiveIndia - Donate online to certified Indian charities & NGOs. Help save a life by supporting children, disabled, education, elderly, employment, environment, health, human rights, women, youth.

hey G,
the idea is cool, but TE doesn't allow Bidding or auction.
"Rule number 6. Bidding or auction is not allowed"

Thats not a Problem.
A *fair* price can be asked by a seller.
there is no need of price to be abnormally higher or lower:D
its should be just the current price of similar condition second hand printer printer(but not used:p )

This is harder than I imagined. I've contacted two mission school and they want me send it to them, problem there is no courier delivering to that region and they cannot pick it up. I'm also looking at selling it and giving the money to charity proceeds, but will do so only if I absolutely find no needy takers.
