Which free UPnP media servers can I use with Windows XP and my Eaget M880 HDD media player ??
I tried Tversity and PS3 Media server. My opinions are
Tvsersity -> The free version is good but it seems that i am not able to stream online video. (mms:// links). For low bitrate files it works fine. Moreover i am streaming over Wifi and not LAN cable.
PS3 Media Server -> This software does not detect the media player as it is designed for a PS3 but going through uPnP in my media player, it is able to see the media server (my laptop) and using the media server i am able to browse my laptop HDD content on my media player directly (which is cool). But i am not sure how to add web based links to this ?
What other options do i have for free media servers ?
Also is video stuttering over wifi expected ?? At least for 720p files it was stuttering. :no:
