Free online storage with any folder sync available ?

I need some free online storage facility which also has any folder sync option. Like dropbox can be used but then it restricts you to a predefined folder which is synced with cloud. But i need something which can upload and keep in sync ANY folder on my machine.
This is particularly needed for my dad who uses certain programs and i need to sync folders of those programs so whenever he works and makes any changes they get automatically uploaded to cloud.
I do not want him to copy those folders from their original location to the specific sync folder (like it is needed in dropbox).
Is there anything like that available ?

I read about it immediately after posting this thread. It does work. Tried with 4 folders and it synced but 2 folders are not syncing, instead of green tick or blue refresh symbol, there is a greyed out line, not sure why. Troubleshooting it.

Yes it works perfect. Also the 2 folders which are not syncing is because of a selective sync thing. Actually the same folders were already available on my dropbox account and i chose not to sync them to my local machine and later added the same folder from my local machine to dropbox folder and it does not sync. I deleted the main folder from dropbox website (which was synced few months back last). So may be i will change the folder names in my local machine and make the sym link again.
But all in all, the sym link is an awesome way to share any folder / file with dropbox.
