I believe for 200$ he can get a much better deal, klipsch promedia 5.1 were retailing around that pricemark..

BTW, Freaky has the 2.1 version of this. Sony SRS-D2100 . He says they're pretty good

BTW which 19" monitor to buy in the 10- 12K range........nd which card if not the 6600gt (same range ofcourse).....

I think the Samasung 997DF is the best. It can do 1600x1200 @ 75hz. ( provided your gfx is upto it).

@rocky - get a Powercolor x800gt if its available at lammy its much much better than 6600gt.

Check at Plug n Play and Cassette World they stock powecolor cards.

Currently Mediatech hasnt got the x800gt yet but ppl at lammy might have it
by chance.

The cost of X800GT is approx 10K.

yeah i agree with quad, try checking out if a x800gt is available. Prime had some sapphire cards in stock, chk it out with them.

Exactly the same as mine except that this one has 5 sattelites and mine has only 2. Serious bang for buck.

Ok bought the speakers...hes happy....atleast for the looks rite now.....will b putting it togethr on thursday....

didnt get the card since neithr the 6600Gt nor the x800gt is available...

BTw mediatech said thy cud get the card in 3 days or so

...didnt inquire bout price ......said they had given a card to chip for reviewing nd stuff
