Just run the eco tub clea cycle with nothing in the tub. No product.
That depends on how this cycle operates.
With Samsung front loaders after around five minutes the entire wash is dumped meaning any cleaning products would also be flushed out before they had any chance to take effect.
Is that the case with this top loader as well?
So pay attention when you run the tubclean program and tell us WHEN the water in the entire tub is emptied?

This is a washer /dryer model. So why are you comparing your washer only model with it?
Volume may be similar but the dryer feature will be needed by some.
