go to the apple site, with tax & all , my frend bought it for $349.Anyways in India its for arnd 24000/- in apple shop & 20-21k in grey market

No offence mate, but the grey market price for a 30 GB ipod video is around 15-16k.

If you check ebay, you may find many offers for a new ipod within 15k.
 
I can get one from the Grey Market, but with Replacement Guarantee, if anything goes wrong, from my dealer, for 15k. :).
 
kewl the prices seem to be a lot like US prices only.

Anyway it seems no ones interested at this price pt.
