I have two 512MB sticks of Corsair XMS 400MHz DDR memory. The memory comes with platinum heat spreaders and works at 2-3-3-6 timings in both single and dual channels (as tested on my previous AthlonXP system). I haven't overclocked/volt-modded it so I can't say anything on that front.

I'm looking to sell the RAM for 2,750 a piece or 5,500 for both. Pricing cannot be negotiated further. The memory comes with a Corsair lifetime warranty, which I think is 5 years.

Here are the exact model numbers:
Stick 1 - CMX512-3200C2PT XMS3202v2.2 0321141
Stick 2 - CMX512-3200C2PT XMS3202v4.2 0520113-0

As you can see, the modules carry different revisions and therefore do not run at 400MHz when paired on my A8V deluxe motherboard. This is the reason why I'm selling them. (Surprisingly actually, because they work just fine in dual channel on my previous AthlonXP system). But they run fine individually, no problems whatsoever.

Mumbai buyers preferred. Those interested can PM me, or mail me at this address.

LOL and I wonder why, Corsair XMS series are one of the better performing RAM modules out there...

yeah they are the sticks here are BHx or CHx series there TCCD are almost good as all ......

XMS-PC3200C2 Rev1.2/2.2 (2-3-3-6-1T) --chip--> Winbond CH-6
XMS-PC3200C2 Rev4.2 (2-3-3-6-1T) --chip--> Samsung TCCD & TCC5

So basically there's no way to run them together and expect a decent overclock. At stock, it might be a nice option though.

Yeah that's why I want to get rid of them. When run together, the speed doesn't go over DDR200 on K8 architecture.

v2.2 is a year and a half old, while v4.2 is barely 6 months old. Of course there's a Corsair 'lifetime warranty' - 5 years i.e.

my friend is interested in one stick. but the prob is im in chennai. so the shipping has to be worked out. send me a pm if your are ok with it

How will they run on a socket 478, 865 chipset mobo. Dual channel? At 400Mhz?
For o/c purpose NO.....since they are based on different chips.
For stock speeds or near they should be ok in dual channel.(presumption. by manually setting the ram timings)
ultimately you can only find out by actually testing them on ur m/c.....
For single channel operations these rams are great individually......with a slight further reduction in price...:ohyeah:

They will run just fine at stock 2-3-3-6, dual channel, 400MHz on P4s and AthlonXPs. I haven't tried overclocking them so I can't say much on that front. Individually they'll overclock a lot better though as Deejay mentioned.

But you can always try them out first before you buy them. Let me know.
