can u gimme more info...will it work on my intel 845 gbv mobo?
Obviously not! It's a Socket-604 'server' CPU that will only work with Intel 750x series of motherboards and chipsets. Also, such boards often require expensive EPS power supplies and ECC RAM modules.

TE experts,

pls, tell me - is it the same processor in my WorkForce system ???
Here is the CPU-Z

If they are same, then I might help you. I am also from Kolkata.
They are not the same. Yours is a 800MHz FSB, stepping N0, 90nm Irwindale with EM64T support and 2MB L2 cache SL7ZE Xeon. His unfortunate pair are 533MHz, stepping M0, 130nm Prestonia B with no EM64T, 512KB of L2 and 2MB of L3 cache. Core votages and power requirements do not match, so I don't think it would be a good idea to put one of these in your IBM.
