Obviously not! It's a Socket-604 'server' CPU that will only work with Intel 750x series of motherboards and chipsets. Also, such boards often require expensive EPS power supplies and ECC RAM modules.ibz said:can u gimme more info...will it work on my intel 845 gbv mobo?

They are not the same. Yours is a 800MHz FSB, stepping N0, 90nm Irwindale with EM64T support and 2MB L2 cache SL7ZE Xeon. His unfortunate pair are 533MHz, stepping M0, 130nm Prestonia B with no EM64T, 512KB of L2 and 2MB of L3 cache. Core votages and power requirements do not match, so I don't think it would be a good idea to put one of these in your IBM.iosoft said:TE experts,

Here is the CPU-Z
If they are same, then I might help you. I am also from Kolkata.
