i guess i can still use the market :bleh:

I am putting my 1 month old Core 2 Duo rig for sale as I have decided to buy something else. The specs are as follows :

Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo E6300

1.86 Ghz , 2MB L2 , L626 A846 Stepping

Motherboard : MSI 965 P Neo

Intel 965P Chipset + Decent overclocker [allowed me to take my E6300 easily to 2.5-2.6ghz and it was me who dint push more :p] and has lots of room for overclocking with future BIOS updates.

RAM : RAMOS 512X2 DDR2 533 Mhz

These are the RAM sticks to buy if you are on a tight budget.
I have had mine very stable at around 370Mhz (DDR2 740mhz) easily at 1.95V and i am jst paranoid about pumping in more voltage to them. They should do much better with 2-2.1V i guess.
Currently running them at 667Mhz @ 1.85V @ 4-4-4-12 on my MSI 965P Neo and they are like 8 hours memtest86 stable.

Condition of the components : All the stuff mentioned above is as good as new and hardly used for a month. Motherboard and processor are with the original boxes and all mentioned accessories.

Warranty/Bill : Everything has original bills + 3 years warranty in India.

Expected price : I will give the complete bundle for 18,500/- rupees [including shipping charges] to anywhere in India.

PS : If anyone is interested in buying only the mobo + proccy then PM me.

Correct me if I'm wrong mate but Isn't that board limited to 333FSB in the bios? In that case, pushing E6300 to 2.6GHz is impossible... it'll be limited to 2.33GHz.

there have been BIOS updates Mr.Chaos ....new BIOS supports 500 FSB.

and i had overclocked using the BETA 1.6F BIOS which already had got rid of that stupid FSB limitation ...now the latest official 1.6 BIOS also does not have any limitation at all.

and i wouldnt lie here ...i had posted screenies of my oc as well ...wait lemme jst find them.

me likes.... whats the retail prices of these pieces ...what kinda cooling did you use for it ... if there was anything special , would you send that too?

no special cooling ..done on stock cooler.

yep, I had come across a mobo shootout some time back in which any used the beta bios (not public at the time) and went up to 406 MHz base clock. with a E6300 it should work out to a decent 2.85 GHz. Not bad for a budget board. The beta bios was also publicly avaialble on the MSI forums for some time now. The RAM voltages was already available till a decent upper limit of 2.4V. Only thing lacking is the CPU voltage options.
 
UPDATE :

I am going out of town till the 25th of this month ....so if i dont reply to ur pm's or messages here dont get pissed ... :p

nothing has been sold till now ...hoping it sells when i am back.
