Friend has got this this new system in september with bill and stuff. Here is the config

Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz
Intel Original Motherboard 845GVSR-L
256MB Ram
40GB Hard Disk
15" Samsung LCD Monitor
Combo DVD/CDRW Drive
And misc stuff like headphones, mouse, keyboard....

It was bought for 34k in september and he is willing to sell it for 28k (neg) OBO. I would prefer chennai buyers. Im willing to part out the system if most of the components are getting sold.

Chaos, which DDR2 533 RAM should I go for my ThinkPad R52? Any recommendations?
AFAIK, Kingston and Transcend make IBM branded modules for the ThinkPads.
Also, what price should I expect for 512MB and 1GB stick? I was quoted 2650/-
for a Kingston 512MB stick in Delhi, and 3000/- at someplace else in NP.

Wouldn't the LCD monitor in the config make a difference in price Chaos ? Still 34K for that is downright ridiculous.

I think the price is high because of the 15" LCD TFT monitor. But still 34k is a high price.

15" LCD monitor isnt that costly now is it...tht shuld make adiffrence of hardly 5 -6k...but 34k for tht...tht 2 without a gfx card....ur friend got robbed
