Having around 3-4 laptops and more to dispose

These have screen issues or something, and are mix from 7th gen till 10th gen i3s, maybe the odd 3500u amd as well

Since these have issues and are less performant, not wanting to repair them, plus the cost does not make sense

thinking of converting into framework like cases and giveaway

an example -

Suggestions please...
@ibose @rsaeon @cyberwarfare and others into DIY/3D printing

Planning for started to get an acryclic sheet and drill holes, adding mounting screws for now

If you can design a simple case, I can 3D print it and send it over, filament costs would be negligible for something like this.

https://www.tinkercad.com/ is a very easy way to get started, all you need is a basic calipers.

You can print out a 2d projection of your design on paper to make sure everything lines up.

Aim for a 1.2mm side wall thickness and 1mm bottom/top thickness in your design.

Holes should be undersized by 0.5mm so you can screw directly without inserts.

Hole perimeters should ideally be 2mm if there's enough space.

For simplicity, you could have the top screw into the bottom.

I have a few such projects as well, but for later.

Here's an example of the process in Fusion 360:
