^ Yes. He wants to use it on a 8800GT. He's almost confirmed. But i want to show him this thread b4 he makes up his mind. :)

Abu, the HR03+ wont fit on the 8800GT;

There's a separate HR03GT specifically for 8800GTs;

Not intending to crap his sale but the piece of info should be useful from the buyer's point of view; :)

We have a Support Question about compatibility of NEW 8800GT and Thermalright HR-03 PLUS. Is the cooler compatible? What about HR-03 Rev.

HR-03 PLUS’ mounting mechanism is not compatibly aligned with the mounting holes on the 8800GT so installation is not possible. As for HR-03 Rev. A, technically it can be installed on the 8800 GT but because the PWN IC on the back of the card is not covered by the HR-03 Rev. A, plus the fact that the heat generated by the new 8800 GT far surpasses the 7000-series, we would strongly recommend our new HR-03 GT.

However this'll kick its arse to the moon; :lol:

The Accelro requires an additional set of fans, even if its going to be DIY type; ;)

The HR03+ as such has no rival ecept the WC solutions; :)

And thats a good price; I expect my G80 GTX buyer to get in touch with him n buy it soon; :)
 
Gannu what happ to U ?? I suggested Acc S1 revision 2 for G92 8800GT, not Hr+ replacement for GTX. Accelero in some cases even beats HR03GT, and its passive performance is amazing, turbo module costs Rs. 400, 1 can use spare 92/120MM fan too. It costs 1.4k only, whereas HR03GT costs above 2.6k.
