totally OT, but most home users typically do not need gigabit speeds since:

- 100mbit is way more than enough for even really high bit rate HD content

- Non real time bulk transfers are needed once in a rare while e.g. when trying to move your video dump from your download rig/server to a standalone NAS
On such rare ocasions, I find it more convenient to start the transfer before crashing off ...8 hrs is sufficient to transfer over 125 Gig over even a poor 100mbit network

Hence trying to understand why you need this upgrade....

Your talking about the WAG 200G mate, which is a 802.11g router.

Re-structuring my network, may need more than 4 LAN ports and two WiFI routers, so still in decision mode.
 
hardware version x1 or x2 ?

This router has too many bugs/issues ..just found on Australian linksys support forum & latest beta firmware .12 fails to fix it!

Anyhow Cisco support is just wonderful.

I'd appreciate if you could highlight some of those issues, cause I have faced NONE so far.
