Dude....i see you only selling mousepads. I know the gaming cafe didnt work out but how come you bought so much pads :s.

well i bought these pads in bulk from singapore even before razer world wide shipping of goliathus started...2 more quantity left for sale thats all :)

Im more into gaming mice, mousepads, audiophile headphones etc :D thats my area of interest lol:D

apologies if these are dumb questions in this thread-

How do they differ in actual usage, I think they have different textured surfaces right?

Better for optical or laser mice?

Are they designed for particular genres of games? ex- speed for FPS, control for RPG/RTS etc?

yes...the Speed version of Goliathus is very very smooth...cloth surface

while the "control " version of Goliathus is very much textured..it causes a lot of friction .

Both the pads work without any problem with mice like Razer Deathadder, Logitech MX 518, Microsoft Intelli 3.0, Microsoft Intelli 1.1, Steelseries Ikari, Microsoft wheel mouse optical etc .

thers nothing like game genres or anything for mousepads... it depends on the mouse sensitivity used by the gamer ( tho most of them r fps gamers ) .

I guess the speed is aimed at high sensitivity gamers...and the control version is aimed at ppl who use much lower sensitivity and wants a bit of control..like if u are dragging ur mouse frm left to right..and u want it to stop correctly at the point u STOP moving ur mouse...the textures in the control surface helps achieving it..while if u do it on speed...it will end up going a lot more to the right side of the pad than the exact spot u wanted to stop..because of its smoothness . This doesnt mean that the speed version is bad for gaming, its all affected by "whether the gamer is low sensitivity gamer or high sensitivity gamer" and his sensitivity taste/preference
