heh hee....now u talkin.....:P remember all my fascination with 1080i/1080p.... well once u see a 1920 res one u won't wanna watch anything else...

1280*720 is still very very good, and you're dead right it makes up for the size with the look and feel of a crisp and outta this world picture

vandal this is a real time rendered game video ...... just look at the clarity ...... at that resolution even SLI systems will stresses with this kind of graphics .....

No I'm talking about a movie...video...not a game. Man for HD @ 1920 with a live 3D engine, we'd need all my 3 PC's, your faster one a few more....a freakin server rendering farm is what'd do the trick..

But rendering computational data is CPU heavy too...

My Clan, TradeMarc's Intro Movie, is HD 720i 1280*720.

Rocks :ohyeah:

Will have the download link out soon :ohyeah:...

About 7 Minutes, and 95 MB :).

don't you mean 720p? 720i is only present in EDTV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enhanced-definition_television)

anyway for your clan video, i suggest you avoid it and stick to PAL DV res or try 800x450 if you really want 16:9. our internet connections and computers are not ready for HD video as yet. i'm not talking about the members of this site, i'm talking about the public in general. a lot of people had frame drops when decoding my 720x586 x.264 video which was running at a 'mere' 25 fps. that was because of the codec and not the resolution but they may face similar issues.

can someone tell me what the framerate of this video file on the nvidia site is?

just saw the vid. looks great (pity i have to watch on my stupid 17inch) and played back fine even on my friends old pc. guess you can stick to your plan of 720p goldenfrag :) it's still gonna be a b**ch to compress though. your 95mb for 7 minutes at that resolution seems to be undersized. most gaming videos are about 20mb a minute for 25fps 640 res (which look just about ok quality wise). how is the quality on yours?
