i have a LG LCD tv - 32LF20FR which is full HD - 1080p supported.
1-when i tried 1920*1080 resolution with my laptop using VGA out , the LCD had half the screen displayed , rest was black. TV was set at 16:9 mode
why is this happening ? if possible a remedy
----> currently i am working on 1024*768 resolution and its working fine(full screen)
future plan is to buy a system with HDMI (as HTPC). will the above problem continue even with HDMI ?
2- horizontal lines(causing flicker effect) are created when the TV is connected , which gradually go away after few time of use or few changes in resolutions.
please help me with above problems
