Full Screen IMAX vs coventional WIDESCREEN theater

I feel that widescreen instead of giving more picture horizontally ,gives you the feeling that the top and bottom part of the picture has been cropped.
In IMAX the picture is full screen not because it has been cropped but more image has been added top the top and bottom of a conventional screen and it looks so much better and the characters look so much bigger. i feel fullscreen is better than widescreen

You actually have to look around at different corners of the screen to catch ALL the details.

THAT, is simply the reason why I refused to watch Dark Knight Rises at PVR on sunday itself, and waited for IMAX till wednesday morning (ALMOST THERE)
