FYI: New Firmware for Nokia E63

For all E63 users just wanted to let you know that there's a new firmware out, not aware of the changelog, but the phone definiltely is much snappier now
 
My E63 runs on 200.21.012 and faces the same old problem of sometimes hanging when the menu button is pressed.

Which firmware version are you talking about?

The menu button or when you use the left "soft key" to access the menu?

All you have to do is change the soft keys default setting. You can make the right key "menu" and the left "camera" or anything else you want.

Anything except menu assigned to the left soft key.

Thanks Ritvik,

I did that the day I bought the phone as my brother (who's using the same phone for a while now) faced this problem some time back. But, my phone still got stuck up once. Still trying to see if its a regular feature or I can live with it...
 
It's not a regular feature, and you should not have to put up with it, unfortunately this problem has also been seen in E71 as well, it's strange as some users have never seen this problem at all

I bought this phone back in Septemeber, from them have been facing the issue, had checked with Nokia Care, they just reinstall the OS and the issue was seen after that as well

Recently checked the Web and found this update, after applying this update, still faced the problem, I did a hard reset by *#7370# and after that have not faced the problem for the last 10 days, some things which I always do which I haven't, I like the clock in digital format, at present it is in the analogue formate and haven't seen the issue so far, touchwood

Do share your experiences...
