Hey All,

I am almost done getting parts for my High End Computer recently except CPU/ Memory/ SSD ( OCZ Vertex 3)

CPU is quite short on supply but hopefully will get in next week, planning to buy i5-2500k / i7-2600k for my GA-P67A-UD7-B3 Motherboard.

On the matter of RAM (DDR 3 Dual Channel), its been quite hard to get Corsair 1800Mhz ( Dominator/ Vengeance) ones and almost all the suppliers are telling me it will take atleast 14-17 days.

So I also got to know about G.Skill 2000Mhz availability with its own Fan.

I wanted to know how good is G.Skill Brand/ company in regards to RAM performance/ after sales and etc..

Should I Buy it in place of Corsair? Or should I wait it out or just use 1600Mhz?
Appreciate all the advices,

Thanks all.

All-right are you going to over-clock, if not this is going to be a waste of a buy. Otherwise the G.Skill RIPJAWS I find aesthetically better looking and better performing then the Corsair XMS 3.

I have used gskill with multiple platforms like X58, P55, AMD 890FX and they all performed pretty well.
So you can safely buy it.

Performance - Very good.

Value - Very good. On par with Corsair/Kingston for modules rated at similar specs.

Customer service - Awesome! Absolutely no worries here.

Verdict - Go get a pair! :P

PS: Got a set of 2GBHZ during Oct. 2007 and been a user of G.Skill ever since. Replaced those with 4GBPI (which was replaced later with the revised edition since one of the sticks went bad) and got hold of a 8GBRL couple of weeks back for the upcoming SNB setup.
