At a media event in Mumbai, LG launched the G3 in the Indian market. The 16 GB/2 GB version will retail to the equivalent of $800 (Rs. 47990), while the 32 GB/3 GB model will set users back $850 (Rs. 50990).

The G3 will be available in three color variants in the country — Metallic Black, Silk White and Gold Shine. To incentivise the purchase of the quad-HD handset, LG is offering a discount of Rs. 5,000 on the G Watch (which costs Rs. 14,999 in the country), a QuickCircle case that costs Rs. 3,500 along with a one-time screen replacement worth Rs. 6,500.

Err. Priced around the M8.

Way too expensive. They should learn to tone down the price a bit. Learn from Xiaomi people!!!

As usual expensive. Price ofc will come down in couple of months, and then that will be the time when they will get their sales up.
