Rough summary + Translation:

The card is a Quatro 4500, based off the G70Ultra.

Clocks are 430/1.05 at 3D. 2D core runs at 275mhz. Remember this is the Quatro, which is an underclocked desktop card.

PCB is 100% identical to that of the 7800GTX

512MB of memory

The nail or rather the hammer that drives the nail in ATi's coffin is here. Will break the 10k mark for sure if its a 32-pipe part as it should be.R520 is beaten b4 launch.Card seems real enough.

This card would be slower on 3DMarks 05 then the G70. I have a Quadro 4400 which is modelled around the NV45GL- Which is equivalent to the the Geforce6800GT - On my benchmark testing, the Quadro is around 300 Points lower than the 6800 in 3DMarks.
Due to nature of the card and its applications, it is not designed for 3DMarks or any other gaming benchmarks and focuses on OpenGL apps. Ofcourse my SpecView Perf scores on the Quadro are maybe 2 or 3 Times higher than the GeForce.
I expect the 3D Marks score of the Quadro 4500 to be around 7500 range which is a shade lower than the the 7800GTX.

Quadro cards are not meant for gaming and hence should not be tested by gaming benchmarks. Even if this card is based on a Quadro, it will have a different architecture, designed for gaming.

If this card is a 32-pipe piece, then it should definately cross 10k in 3dMark05, else I dont think nVidia are doing enough. Also the card should definately carry 512MB memory for people who are spending that much.

Quadro and the GeForce cards are basically the same wine in different bottles.Only differ in their BIOS,some features like line AA are disabled in GF cards and enabled in quadro ones. The 300 point 3Dmark difference is attributable to those firmware differences between the cards.
And most GeForce and Quadros can be converted to their corresponding "brother" part by simply using Rivatuner's NVstrap driver.

The "Faster G70", which is how the G71 is being called internally now, targets almost insane clock speeds. We have learned that several boards achieved a clock speed of 800MHz, which just goes to prove that tweaks being done in 110nm G71 core will make R520 tremble, and force ATI to respond with its 32-pipe R580 as soon as possible. However, we have to warn you that we haven't been able to find out in what environment this clockspeed was achieved. But it was achieved using new and improved two-slot cooling, not water or phase-change cooling.
FanATics prepare for a heartbreak!    :ohyeah: :hap2:
