I am thinking about buying the galaxy nexus.I have few concerns about the phone not having warranty.Are the spare parts available in India so that I can repair the phone?

most gray market store can repair gnex easily..don't worry about it..just check display when you bought it...look for dead pixel or it has yellowish or pink tint..

to check dead pixel you have to application called display tester...https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gombosdev.displaytester&hl=en

at minimum brightness check what white color background actually look like,say it will be more like bluish color then white,it's ok for amoled display,if it's pinkish or yellowish return it...

do calling test and loudspeaker test...
