Dxgaming.com has measured the power consumption of several consoles including the xbox 360.

At standby mode the Ps2 console draws only 0.2 watts,
while the xbox 360 draws 2 watts.

During gaming the xbox 360 consumes 165 watts while the Ps1 consumes only 6 watts followed by the gamecube at 21 watts .

The Ps2 and the Xbox console draw 30 and 70 watts respectively.
(PS2 was tested without HDD)

Makes sense!

That's some serious power consumption but i guess its justified as its is packing and operating much more than a ps2 or xbox.
