I have the following config

AMD 3800+
1 Gb RAM @ 400MHz
nVidia 7300 LE :ashamed:

I'm a big fan of strategic FPS like Rainbow Six Las Vegas :)
Please suggest me some more. DIfferent genres as well.
Btw, I dont have any problem with playing at minimal settings :D
 
u guys suggesting him to play crysis and cod4 on 7300LE ? :rofl:

try SPORE man its awesome game and should run on ur config :P
 
you can play:

fear

hitman blood money

halo 2

pop warrior within

gta san andreas

there are quite a few games you can enjoy until you get a better gpu.
 
Why would a fan of tactical shooters like COD4? Just because it has assault rifles?

Raven Shield and SWAT 4 are the games for you.
Raven Shield is also a much better Rainbow Six game than Vegas.

In fact I have finished COD4 on average settings on my config.

Like I said, it doesn't has to be strategic shooter only, so please suggest a few games from other genres as well(like some people already have).
 
Dude there are tonnes of games for you:

MohAA: Pacific Assault

Call of duty 2

----these are WW2

Max Payne 2

Doom 3 will run as well

Mafia

---These are great games..

Hitman series.

---Sneaking around..

Rainbox Six series you would love and will all run.

--your tactical stuff...

FEAR should also run...it ran on my 6800GT!!

Far Cry ..how come no one recommended it..?

Entire HL2 series would run fine and are great FPS..

No One Lives Forever 2..dont know how many have heard of this one...

...so you want more......?
 
lol @ fear on 7300le..dont compare a 6800gt or 6600gt with 7300le.6800gt is like almost 2 x 6600gt . .7300le is a inferior card to 6600gt itself, no point comparing with a 6800gt!! though 7600gs is somewhat equal to a 6600gt!

5. Enter the Matrix ( 3rd person game , but a bit of fun + action if u love the movie )

8. Serious sam 2 -Medium settings

9. Unreal 2 -The Awakening

10. Unreal Tournament 2004

11. True Crime

12. Pariah

Oh thats news to me, I am not saying your are wrong at all, I just thought the 7300le had a bit more punch since it was next gen compared to 6800GT.

But point noted.. :-)

But nonetheless if has doesn't mind at minimal settings dont you think FEAR would run fine?

and +1 for RTCW its an awesome game and MP is free now...
 
hey infected, i was just pointing out the difference dude ;)

to enjoy a game like fear ..i think u shud play atleast at medium settings with arnd 30-40fps rates atleast...minimal is very bad ..i had tried it once on my fx 5200..at lowest settings it looks like some DOS based game..with pixels around the head of models...full map is "filled up with dot marks :S"

Im not saying he shudnt try fear..but my opinion..he should try the other games mentioned here ...coz playing fear at lowest must be a weird experience..better he try it after upgrading gfx card hehe ....and try out Far cry too like infected mentioned......very much playable on 7300LE at high settings without AA , and dont miss out on RTCW if u havent played it yet:D

low end card of a gen isnt close to to 1 gen old high-end card.
infact 6800gt is around 80% performer equivalent to a 7600gt even outperforms it in shade intensive games due to 256 bit vs 128 bit.:)
hav used 6800gt 7600gt both.:cool2:
 
for strategy games how come splinter cell series not recommended and hitman too

...humm, I wouldn't call them STRATEGY they are more FPS with some tactical involvement. STRATEGY is Red Alert, Age OF Empire and Supreme Commander to name a few...
