hee hee, no offence taken...I know my gaming skills are almost non-existent :P

NFS PU...hmmm hmmm...Am playing NFS MW on-and-off of late and am currently challenging Blacklist #13 :ashamed:
Is PU the next iteration of the NFS Series, (post MW)?

Civ IV is a strategy game and I suppose would be too slow...

On a side-note, have you guys ever expereinced headaches/giddiness while playing FPSs?
I have absolutely no other giddiness/vertigo/motion sickness problem in real life, and I wonder why FPS games induce these terrible headaches in me...

its a very old NFS (i think he is talking about porsche unleashed)...... it came after NFS HP ....... but it is still the best NFS i have ever played ..... but the version i have doesn't work with windows XP :( keeps on crashing don't know y ....

oye Rahul,

Not now though...me sleepy :P ...

Superczar, get Grim Fandango, Beyong Good & Evil and Psychonauts. You'll love them.
The first is brilliant. The second is the most charming, most emotional game ever made. And the third is flat out genius.

The recent POP games were brilliant, but I guess for people with a short attention span, they would be on the repeatitive side.

Czar if u haven't yet, try Deus Ex.... you won't find a more compelling game experience on *ANY* platform. Its my favorite game of all time by a mile or rather maybe a light year. I think saumil will agree to it as well :). Also make sure u patch to the latest patch before u play it. The best part is its just 200 bux :P.

Oh the best part of the game is getting thru it without killing anyone :P.

^^LOL i've seen folks who hate all sorts of games fall in love with DX  BTW czar tell me if u cried at the end of dreamfall :P. I for sure did... darn i admit it :P.

I've yet to play Dreamfall, but if you liked the emotional angle then Beyond Good & Evil is the game for you.

i used to get those headaches as well especially with quake.. no problems with farcry or hl2 though.. wierd :P played for 4-6 hrs with no issues but half hour of quake is a torture:P

plus i heard last time ppl used to get motion sickness or something with hl2

LOL finished BG&E long long back hehe. Brilliant game overall just that i felt there was a tad too much combat :P.

how about Mystic series ? :D . I played the 2nd one , quite nice .. some puzzles are really hard , I had to write it down for clues and astronomy numbers lol !

I didnt face any of the motion sickness and other problems while playing but yes I do however have SAS :P

play lots of racing and rallying games it improves ur concentration and better if u have a wheel once i heard sabastien loeb (world rally champion) say when ever he gets free time he practices on his ps2 if ur really good in rally games the i suggest u to get ur hands on richard burns rally its the second to the real thing with real time leftfoot braking and carset up and lots more, yes PU was the best nfs ive ever played learned a lot from it

play hl1 and hl2 they are one the best games ever made,FEAR is also very good

and hitman codename 47 and bloodmoney and not to forget quake4,painkiller are all good games

Whoa, superczar is one of the very ppl around here who actually remembers river-raid (atari), if only i could get my hands on that game now (rom/emulator), the pc version of that game sucks.

and yeah, u can try Farenhiet/Indigo prophecy, one of the most innovative games i've played yet, with mutiple endings and mutiple storylines. very cool.
LOL, River Raid was one uber cool game, though repetitive

I did try Indigo prophecy, and it did seem like a brilliant game, but the PC control mechanism is a little too bad unfortunately

I did start BGE on the PS2, but got bored while playing it sitting in front of the TV...
I suppose it would be worthwhile playing it on the PC though

do you need to play the first game to get dreamfall ?

Noooo....Go ahead and get the game mate.....
Perhaps the most captivating storylines in a game or even a movie

Anyway, just got Still Life, and BGE is next in line :)

I'm bloody surprised no one has suggested this game: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. Good Grief! This game and it's sequel The Sith Lords are my favourite games of all time.

If you're looking for RPG, adventure and third-person gameplay, this is it.

RBR is awesome. This is one game where it's literally difficult to drive in a straight line. You have to really baby your car through the lush Japanese stages.
I remember feeling incredibly humbled the first time I let Richard Burns show me 'How It's Done' in the driving school.

Pulling off perfect Scandinavian Flicks is a rewarding feeling second to none :) Sadly it only happens 1 out of 5 times :(
