I'm going to open a gaming parlour with all the latest games around with me so i was like taking suggestions from every gamer in Delhi that these are my config and my budget is 10 lakhs so what pc config should i use and how much should i charge for one hour and for monthly membership(unlimited use)

There Would Be really Good Competitions being Organised at the palace for every one on the latest games like - NFS Most Wanted, FIFA 2006, Counter Strike, Doom 3, Quake 4, UT 2004 etc...

Please Suggest Ideas

There is one server and 10 pc's

The server config. is :

ASUS A8N 32 SLi Deluxe
AMD 4000+
6600 GT x 2 (SLi)
2 GB corsair RAM
WD 150 GB (10000 RPM)
Logitech G15 keyboard & G5 mouse
17" Flat CRT
Cooler Master 550 W Power Supply
Antec Super LanBoy Cabinet
Cooler Master Cooling System

10 Machines config :

ASUS A8N SLI
AMD 3200+
1 GB corsair RAM
6600 GT
WD 150 GB (10000 RPM)
Logitech Keyboard & Logitech MX 518 mouse
17" Flat CRT
Cooler Master 380 W Power Supply
Custom Made Cabinets
Cooler Master Cooling System
 
You dont need 6600GT's in a Server. You dont even need a Graphics Card. Any Cheap card, Like the 6200TC will do.

Also, for a Server PC, id suggest you go with Dual Core. X2 3800+ or Opteron 170 will suffice. Dual Cores, so you could host upto 4 Servers (talking about CS, along side with 4 HLTV Proxy's to record demos.)

Dont waste money on the A8N-32 SLI board. Server PC is only used to Host Servers, not to game on.

Western Digital Raptor 150GB is awesome :hap2:

Everything else looks awesome. Id say dont waste money on the 518's.

Pro's normally will bring their own mice, and noobs, well, dont care.

Also, there are lesser chances of Cheaper mice being flicked.

The 10 Gaming PC Config is really nice. I wanna play at your cafe :P.
 
^^ ditto ..... don't waste money on the server ..... u can get better processor and fast HDD's but graphics card will not help in anything .... and if u want better graphics get a 7800GT instead of 2x6600GT .... u have to spend only 2-3thousands extra but u will get much better performace
 
Go for opteron 170+Asus A8N-E/A8N SLI premium for the Server Rig, Antec Super Lanboy... kewl but do consider the Antec Plus View II. I think you want to play games in Server also, like rahul said you can go in for a 7800GT instead of 2*6600GT else get a XFX 6800GS 256Mb DDR3.

As for the gaming rig you can have the Mx518, @ goldie not everyone will bring in their own mouse everytime or not everyone will have Mx518:P. Do consider Antec Smart Power 2.0 400W.

The server doesnt really need to be hefty gpu wise unless you plan to use it for playing as well. imo any cheap gpu will do. Also get the a A8n-e instead of a8n32 sli, that would suit better since sli capability nor oc'ing would be required here. Instead of 4000+ which isnt available here get the Opteron 165 /170 for the cpu. Again no need of spending on a expensive keyboard like g15 and a g5 mouse unless you plan to use the server for playing. Instead of Cooler master 550W get Antec neohe 500. That Wd raptor isnt available in india right now and is probably going to cost a bomb.

Its nice to see that you are going all out to provide gamers with a good gaming configs and thus an enjoyable experience. However try saving as much as possible.

A8N Sli >> A8n-e suggested since a SLi mobo is going to be a waste.

AMD 3200+ >> Get 3000+ If you find 10 of them else stick with 3200+.

Corsair ram should do fine unless you plan to oc. But oc'ing on multi-user machines and ones that run 24*7 doesnt seem like a good idea.

6600GT is a good choice for a Gpu, however Nv will introduce the 7600gt soon at the 6600gt price point so if you can wait i'd suggest going for that. If you are looking for something a bit better, then get the Powercolor x1600xt for 13k.

For WD like i said before it isnt available. Get a 200Gb sata from hitachi.

Logitech mx518 is strictly for right handed people. I'd suggest getting the Razer Diamondback if you want something cheap else get the copperheard for the best.

For 17" monitors get viewsonic.

Antec 400W recommended instead of the Coolermaster, even better would be getting Vantec 460W for 3.2k

Air cooling should do fine, just make sure you get good cabinets with lots of fans.

As for pricing, depending on the area you live you could charge anywhere between 30-50 but since you are targetting teens and kids don't price it too much.

Only Processors! Like Blady just said.

Pricing sohuld be Rs.35 per hour. Since the config is good, people wont complain.

Also, do something like attaching the USB Port Plug to the Case, so that your Mice arent flicked off.
 
You can have some lesser price as a innagural offer and then increase it... say increase it after a week.
 
^^ and u can give reduced offers in the summer vacations and diwali which will attract more ppl........

Dude, Vacations are the time most people come and he will make the best profit. Theres no use giving reduced prices in Vacations. Reduced prices on Weekdays (Exluding Friday, Saturday and Sunday) is a very good idea!

i suggested a graphics card coz he might be thinking of playing on the server ...
