I have great expectations from Silent Hill and Halo............ Silent hill is looking good right now !

No hope for farcry since uwe boll is making it. No hopes from postal either ! why !! ?? Cause well uwe is involved again :(
 
^^Agree..Silent hill shud be awesome..i read about the game in many game review sites and they said tht it was one of the creepiest games made. The subject matter is morbid and gory..the movie shud be good too.. :)

out of all that, i see only Silent Hill (judging form the awesome trailer and hype its getting), Resident Evil Afterlife and 4 (Both previous movies were a success at the box office, and almost the cause of triggering that big list!)

The Getaway (Eh, actually the game was based on The Getaway, a hit movie from the 80's), Mortal Kombat is in doubts (Since its being directed by Paul Anderson, also making the RE movies so who knows) and Spyhunter (only because The Rock's in it)

The rest i can bet will make games look bad in Hollywood.

1.Prince Of Persia-made by disney
And..
2.Halo-director has not been selected but the producer is Peter Jackson:hap2:

I'm a big horror fan..
I just hope it turns out to be a good horror flick and not like those dumb slasher movies..havent seen any good horror flick after the ring..
 
this just came in, Siren being made into a movie

Ghost House Pictures announced that they acquired the rights to Sony’s cult horror franchise Siren. Evil Dead’s Sam Raimi is set to produce the film with Michael Gordon was hired as the lead writer.

Really waiting for RTCW movie,if ever it is made.Just love the game.

Would also love to see a NOLF2 based movie.Donno how mnay peeps here know this game but it ROCKS !!

Siren was first a series of TV episodes in Japan, it then got a game, now a movie. The game has to be the WORST survival horror EVER.
 
Awesome news! GoW movie is going to kick ass! Greek Mythology+10 degree violence = Greatness! :hap2: Now i just hope they do it well.
 
They'll all suck except for a few. Most games aren't movie material no matter how good the game was or who makes the movie.

Walt Disney sucks now, so don't have much hope for PoP either. Johnny Depp was the only good thing about Pirates.

I find the game pretty wasteful in terms of the storyline............almost eveyone you trust cheats on u, so it becomes repititive and predictable......
(Although i havn't played much of GTA:SA, waiting for d summer holidays)
