I have not read it yet. But GTA SA has to have won something!!! If it has not won anything, this is a total waste

Nikhil, GTA SA won nothing and neither did Quake 4 :-P

I'm just glad F.E.A.R. won a few awards... it truly is a great game.

EDIT: Correction, GTA SA won biggest news LOL... didn't check that category earlier because it isn't related to gaming. You got your wish now :)

Dude these are the awards for the best games of 2005 .GTA SA was realeased on ps2 in 2004 and it won the best game award in 2004 and the PC version is nowhere compared to the ps2 version! Except for graphics everything was crappy on the pc.

Bluffmaster said it. GTA SA stole the awards for the best of 2004 since it was released in 2004.

And Re4 deserves the Goty. Its gotten Goty in IGN, GT.TV and Spike TV's VGA awards as well. Besides, FEar is up there with 3 and Civ with a couple so PC has been not far behind this year.

GAMEfaqs has the GotY poll today as well so vote for your Goty now.

GTA is a PC franchise, always has been. Same for POP.

GTA PC owns the PS2 version with its' better controls, better graphics, better performance and hi-res mods.
Auto-aim is meh...

Thats not True guys , i own both the ps2 version as well as the pc version and believe me ps2 version is much better. Sure pc version has better graphics and hi -res but still the feeling of playing the gta on a ps2 is something special ! It sure does take sometime to adjust to the controls of gta on ps2 if u were playing the pc version but after u have been adjusted to the controls , u will never want to leave one !

For more proof that why PS2 GTA : SA version is better than pc version please refer : gamespot , IGN , 1UP , gamershell , gamefaqs , etc

The ps2 version of GTA SA released in 2004 is still in Gamespots Top 10 games on its main page.

The PC version still has some stuff over it, but like Gamespot said it, it had more things wrong than right. The ability to add mods was a killer though!
