Hi !!!! guys there is this (relatively small)gaming competition in my college Don Bosco Institiute Of Technology , we go the following games
1.CSCZ (4 on 4)
2.NFS MW
3.Quake
4Fifa

Though there isnt going to be a very big prize money (Rs2000 +1 original cd for cs and Rs500 + original DVD for the other games) be rest assured that the PC's(AMD64 1 gig ram + geforce 5500 256 MB gfx cards) , the setup(live matches to be broadcasted in the waiting rooms),competition will be upto the mark .

Yeah...this is a part of that Iris fest rite? I might be going for it..may not compete but just to watch.

good job...all the intercollege tourneys in Bangalore is pretty lamely arranged iIMO...crappy old computers with ball mouse whose balls are never cleaned+ no sound + old gpus..(giving better than 20 fps ) & small monitors..:lol:
 
The Pc's will surely give u a good gaming experience .
There are optical mice,samsung 17 inch CRT monitors(dont remember model no) , i-ball head phones(dont remember model number all i know that each cost the college about Rs700) . Basically my college wants to have a state of the art multi media lab ,which we are using for gaming :) :) :)

Dont wait come over to DBIT ,

From santacruz station : Buss No 322
From Vidyavihar Station : 10mins walk/ 4min bus ride
 
When is this? And what version of quake is there? Are you sure it's quake 1 and not quake 3 or 4?

I will compete if it's at a weekend.

Missed the post on the dates, it's not on a weekend, I am out :/

BTW do you record the demos and put them on a website or something?
