Sorry, spending 17k for a card that performs so close to HD4870 1GB GDDR5 at Rs. 9k isnt just Worth it.

Moreover, HD4870 1GB DDR5 can be softmodded into Ati FireGL V8700 (workstation graphics) incase the OP want to use it for encoding for some weeks.

Rest of the config seems fine :) Though i would suggest better and bigger memory like OCZ 6GB DDR3 1600Mhz or Something (for around 7k)

And adding the monitor: Dell 2209WFP @ 16k incase youre into professional animation etc., else a Benq T220HD @ 8k should suffice.

^^Actually HD 5770 only costs 11k...u can get a HD 5850 for 17-18k and thats definitely worth it..

Guys i am really sorry . Its was a typo nothing else. I meant ATI 5850 - 17k .I have corrected it.

Extremely sorry .

Why? What happens if glacial power is used in a gaming rig?

For encoding and stuff, go for i7 860, it is better than even i7 940 in some cases.

Why pay 5k more for i7 860 when i5 750 can perform at almost 85-90% in encoding? It's better to get a 5850 with i5 750 for just 1k more.

ezzzzzactly !!!!

No need for i7 860 , i5 750 is much better vfm @ 10k and performs ab8 80-85% of i7 860.

No need for spending extra 5k. Instead buy an ATI 5870 with that money if you can
