i'm looking for a keyboard with a good tactile feedback within 2k. Programmable Macros and/or Backlit keys will be a welcome feature. Is Saitkek Eclipse keyboard avl in india?
What keyboards do u guys generally prefer while gaming?

If you are not perticular about the extra bells and wistles like programmable keys and backlighting, then I suggest that you take a look at TVS Gold. Its a mechanical keyboard and has a very good tactile feedback. Its very good for gaming. Unlike membrane keyboards these can take a lot of rough handling too. In fact I have never seen a TVS Gold go bad. After 10~12 years the letters depicted on the keys may fade off, but the keys will not stop working. I have one at home still in use and its in its 10th year now. price is around 1.2k

yes even i vouch for TVS Gold KB's they are just simply outstanding, i've been using one for the past 4 years now and only i know how much i have tortured those arrow keys and the w,a,s,d keys in particular thanks to racing games and football games :P the letter imprints have faded but still the keys have the same tactile feedback as new, though i must say now that some TVS Gold fakes are being sold in market nowadays, and they are just not differentiable from the originals. good luck finding a genuine one.

I recently bought a TVS Gold keyboard after seeing all the nice talk about it - it does have a tactile feedback - but it has no where as good a feel as my old IBM tactile feedback keyboard. Some of the keys do feel nice but NOT the ones along the left edge - the Ctrl Shift Caps Lock and Tab keys feel quite mushy and specially the main Enter key has a pretty bad feel to it - when pressed this key goes a mushy <CLUNCH> instead of a tactile <CLICK> :)

However my biggest grouch with this keyboard has been the really short cable attached to it for connecting to back of the computer. If there is a single reason I will NOT use this keyboard it will be because of the short cable - it is a tight stretch getting the cable to reach the back of the computer on my table. This may not be a problem on most setups. I compared it with my MS Natural Keyboard and an Original German made Cherry keyboard and the cable was around 15" shorter :(
